2. Allow enough space to fill in the colored enamel.
The enamel pin badge resembles a stained glass window. Each section of color is demarcated and bordered by metallic outlines, but colored enamel liquids were used instead of colored glass.
As with stained glass windows, the color gamut cannot be too small or complex. We cannot add color enamel to very small or thin areas.
– The minimum enamel infill area for soft enamel badges is 0.423mm, which is 1.2pt in Adobe Illustrator.
– Cloisonne badge minimum enamel infill area 0.35mm, 1pt in Adobe Illustrator
3. Size considerations: The complexity of the design should be related to the badge size. If your design is complex, we recommend using a larger badge Werbegeschenke (30mm or larger) for the best results.
4. Color Matters: Choose colors that harmonize with each other and consider your choice of metal plating in particular. Contrasting colors can often look great together. It is important to note that only solid colors can be used in the design. Color gradients cannot be achieved. If a colored badge is a must, consider offset pin badges.
5. Use of various plating: The plating of enamel badges does not have to be gold or silver. For example, if your design has black lines, use dyed black metal plating (see example below). All of our plating options are free, so take a look at the many options we offer and choose the plating that best suits your design.
